Your favorite products they no longer make - this time, with pictures.

Flicks-but not the new crap ones-the original Ghirardelli ones.

My local Safeway carries the diet version of this.

Bireley’s

Corn Quistos, like Combos, but corn tubes instead of pretzel tubes.

I’m sure they were actually somehow worse than Combos and they were probably withdrawn because they were amazingly high in fat, but my teenage brain loved them.

Roller Coasters.

sigh

This next one is not discontinued, it’s just really hard to find. I live in Michigan and while Faygo is everywhere, I have a very hard time finding Candy Apple Faygo.

I do see it and buy it once in awhile, but they don’t produce enough of it in my opinion.

Minute Maid Orange Soda. Bastards.

New York Seltzer. I loved the soda, but I’d settle for any other product that allowed me the pleasure of picking off those little Styrofoam labels.

I’d forgotten about those! They used to sell them frozen, with a popsicle stick stuck in them, at my high school’s snack window.

I’d rather have the original *regular *SweeTarts back, the little lens-shaped kind in the gold foil envelope. The things they sell now under the SweeTarts name are nothing whatsoever like the version I enjoyed in the '60s: different taste (too sour) texture (too hard), flavors, size, shape, and packaging.

You’re talking about the giant NON-chewy ones that came in a two-pack, right?

I remember them because my idiot* brother was always making up challenges and taking bets when he was a teenager. One of them was that he could eat both giant SweeTARTs in under a minute. He earned a whopping $1 for doing it.

Sorry, I couldn’t find a picture either.

*said in a loving tone

Another vote for this, terrific candy bar.

Another childhood favorite, gone but not forgotten, would be Spoon Candy.

Wacky Wafers

I saw the new Flicks for sale and almost bought one until I noticed it said “chocolate-flavored” on the label and was made by someone other than Ghiradelli. I thought that maybe my memory was faulty because I remember the Flicks I ate when I was a kid being real milk chocolate and from Ghiradelli. The original Flicks were real chocolate, right?

Root Beer Kool-aid.
It might still be around if more people had known that, tho it tasted not that great freshly made, if it was allowed to sit a day or so, it was delicious.

Could not find a pic but S&W used to make a really good canned salsa, 2 cans of their medium with cilantro with one jar of La Victoria Ranchero hot was really good and just the right heat.

When I was young (7 to about 11) I LOVED peanut butter Boppers. Actually, all you had to say was “Boppers” because they only came in peanut butter flavor. They were so delicious.

I also loved Kudos bars, although I’ve heard/read those are still being made somewhere. Just not in my supermarkets anymore.

I can still get this at the local Fiesta (grocery store chain aimed at Hispanics).

Seven Up Bar (original)

Seven Up Bar deluxe (so called deluxe version, I preferred the original)

Ah! I loved those!

I love malted milk balls, but even better were the Horlick’s MaltiesI ate as a kid - just pure malt.

Jello Pudding Pops

I found a recipe online that said if you make jello pudding regular like but add a cup or so of cool whip and then freeze it it comes out tasting good. I don’t really know how it compares to the original though since I don’t have them to compare but I make a batch once in a while.

I got a box of Whoppers the other day and it didn’t taste like I remember them tasting. The maltiness seemed weak.
