As we enter the year Y2K+1, a new millennium officially enters the books. A great opportunity for a memorable millennium-initiating post, right?

In that vein, to present a forum for such an exploit, I give you this thread where you can provide your inaugural post of the Real Millennium.

If you have already posted you can comment on your post or link to it. Post content is left to your judgement. The only requirement is that the post itself is your first of the Millennium or makes a reference to it.

If your first post EVER is immortalized on this thread I am giving you $1.000.000 in year 3000 money which, according to my inflation estimates, corresponds to the purchasing power of 1 present day buck. So, wanna be a millionaire? Post here!

And if you are wondering why haven’t I commented on my first post of the millennium, well, the explanation is really straightforward. THIS is my first post of the third millennium. A really pathetic way to kick it off, right? :rolleyes:

Uh, my first post of the new millenium was a week ago. I don’t remember what I just ate for dinner, let alone what I said last Monday. But seeing as how I pretty much live here in MPSIMS, I’m going to just assume it was something mundane and pointless. :smiley:

I have just been lurking here lately the past few months now and then. Since I haven’t posted here in a few months I thought I would make this my first post of the new Millennium. Now there we go.
