Superman and Batman have been around for many decades, and we have seen many live-action incarnations of both, but the 2016 movie was the first time we saw them paired up. What actors would you have liked to see paired together as World’s Finest?
Michael Keaton and Christopher Reeve would have been great, and definitely possible, as the last Reeve Superman movie came out only a few years before the first Keaton Batman movie.
Adam West also could have paired with Christopher Reeve since the first Reeve Superman movie came out only a decade after the 60s Batman show.
Unfortunately, George Reeves was dead by the time Adam West donned the cowl, but for the purpose of this question, let’s assume he was still around, as only a decade separated them as well.

Dean Cain and Christian Bale.

I like Bale paired with Brandon Routh (his solo movie was shit but it wasn’t because of him, IMO)
They are both at a large party. A room filled with the rich and the famous. Their eyes meet, and suddenly all the other people disappear. For them, there is no one else in the room…

My favorite Batman actor to date is Clark Bartram. If not for the time/age differential, I think he and George Reeves would have made a fine team. Or Chris Reeve.
But I haven’t cared for any Superman performance since Dean Cain, and I don’t think Cain would look impressive enough alongside Bartram.
I feel like Dean Cain was a great Clark Kent, but just an okay Superman. Just like Ben Affleck was a good Bruce Wayne but definitely not my favorite Batman. I think I’d have to go with Christopher Reeve and Michael Keaton. I’m not actually a huge fan of the Burton Batman movies, but Bale’s Batman (though the movies were good) just made my throat hurt most of the time.
