Was Renee O’Connor hot? Sure, especially later in the series when she was in serious physical shape. Was Gabrielle? Not so much - the early seasons were basically her getting them into life-threatening situations, watching Xena fight for both their lives, then bitching about Xena using violence to solve problems.

Then, there were The Men of Xena. Karl Urban was quite striking as Julius Caesar, Xena’s one-time lover & nemesis. He also appeared as Cupid, revealing a gift for comedy and other attributes. His later success has not surprised me…

An actress who didn’t used to be an Instant Boner but who turned into one when she got older and put on a few pounds is Julia Stiles. I thought she was fantastic as the smart, determined, rail-thin older sister in “10 Things I Hate About You,” but it was her skills as an actress that were fantastic, not her appearance. Then I saw her starring in “Blue” a TV series about a middle class housewife who was an extort, and it was instant boner time. The very slight extra weight made her face look more carnal, more animalistic, and she still had the great acting chops with the fiery intelligence concealed within a face that you might not be surprised to see working a cash register at Walmart. Turned me on, I’m not sure why.

She was spunky and cute and funny. Whereas Xena was serious and dark and a bit melodramatic. Later Joxer was just annoying (but funny). Of the trio, Gabrielle appealed to me a lot. I gave up watching sometime in Season 3 or 4 I think, returning for only the occasional episode.
I don’t get this. I always see someone post this in threads like this. Why? Is it a joke, or are people actually turned on by a rabbit with curves? As a joke, it is so played and lame. If its not, it’s disturbing and tells me more about the poster than I care to know.
FYI, Jessica Rabbit is a “Rabbit” by marriage only. In terms of biological species, she’s all woman.
