I’m no use. I was going to start a thread about “if you are woken by your partner fondling you and you have chest pains - how bad do they have to be before you ask him/her to stop?”
If the OP is in a newish relationship timing may be an issue that’s just now coming up.
I’m in the mood for sex 24x7. Except when I’m about to go to bed at night. That’s when I’m in the mood for sleep. I can be wide awake watching TV or reading or whatever & suddenly I’m sleepy. I stop what I’m doing, find my bed, crawl in, and go to sleep. In about 4 minutes flat. Somebody wanting sex just then is an annoying intrusion.
Gals, you can bug me for sex any time you want. You’ll get all I got. Except at sleeptime. Then leave me alone.
If our OP’s boyfriend is similar and the relationship is just underway, he’s probably been hiding this aspect of his preferences. Until now.
We’re both male and have turned each other down numerous times over the years. Tired, not feeling well, etc. It’s really not that big of a deal.
This is how I feel. I would be down for sex immediately after work, nearly every day, but my SO is generally not. (Not to mention that we have 2 children under 2-and-a-half, and we’re not big on spectators.)
She tends to want to do it when we go to bed for the night, at 11pm or later, and by that time I’m just tired and want to sleep.
