It is sad for me to listen to Top Ten radio and find nothing, and I mean nothing, to like.
My son is listening to this stuff, so when we’re riding in the car, we turn from the NPR channel my wife likes, so I listen in.
Extremely repetitive choruses, droning guitars and synths. Some of it could be good dance music, cause after all, you want the beat and you’re usually too buzzed to care about the lyrics. (Yeah, my son and I are going to have some real interesting conversations as he grows older.)
I know that there’s good music out there, but it seems like those who control the gates are letting through a distressingly narrow scope of music.
