Does Jim’ll Fix It count, given what came out about him later?
Well, there was that A Mighty Fortress theme song written by that trouble maker Martin Luther. Subliminal indoctrination, indeed.
Teletubbies. Click on the link at your own risk.
@Kent_Clark I was just going to say. As hard as I may, I can’t think of anything more stupid.
I came here to say Caillou vs Teletubbies are a tough choice. I see that they’ve already been mentioned.
MiniMouse hated Caillou too after age 5 or so.
Well, to be fair, Teletubbies are designed for under 4 year olds.
And my best friend’s autistic son loves Caillou. He watches two episodes at the same time. I try to be…somewhere else.
I remember thinking Davey was a dumbshit, but I wanted a talking dog.
Bite your tongue!
Didn’t Mr.T do a cartoon series?
I can’t recall the show but they sang a song called Fruit Salad yummy yummy alot. As soon as the first note came on I wanted it off.
Veggi-tales. How to break a kids spirit in 3 episodes and not realize. Hate that crap.
When one of my brother’s children was a toddler, they were obsessed with Barney. They would watch the show completely rapt and yelled at their uncle when he made fun of Barney.
Loved that show-Veggie Tales.
“The Wiggles”!
I watched the show that “The Office” parodied in “Take Your Kids to Work Day”
The real show was called “The Land of Hatchy-Milatchy”
(Bill O’Reilly was a reporter on the same station)
I remember disliking Tales of the Wizard of Oz (which seemed to be roughly 70% the theme song repeated over and over).
Mister T ran on NBC from 1983 to 1985 with 30 episodes.
Sylvester Stallone had Rambo: The Force of Freedom which ran in syndication for 65 episodes
Although I’ve never seen an episode, I am confident this is a worthy contribution to the thread.
Don’t forget the Chuck Norris or Jackie Chan cartoon series.
I still know the theme song, that’s how often it was repeated.
I didn’t watch the TV show, but as a retired children’s librarian I’m very familiar with the books. I found both Max and Ruby to be insufferable. I don’t like spanking, but those two both need a butt whuppin’.
I don’t know much about it other than “If it doesn’t have a tail, it’s not a monkey,” but the boychik and I both loved that song.
Anyone else wonder if Max is autistic?
