For me, 3+ hours is a bit much to sit in front of the TV so I always DVR the game.
Then at about 3:15 or so I watch it through and fast forward the commercials and all of the down time (injuries, instant replay, etc.) I usually time it so if it’s a close game that is coming down to the wire, I can watch the ending in real time which seems more authentic.
(Not the case this year as the ‘Skins have yet to even make a game of things –but, Hey…it’s early.)
When you ask for “preferred” I have to respond with “most likely to be available.” The Titans games are almost always Sunday Noon CST). The few Monday night games have been fun, as have the Thursday ones, and least frequent are the Sunday 3:00 games.
If I could pick the time for their games myself, I’d probably stay with the early Sunday slot. At this point in the voting, I appear to be in the majority group.
By 4 pm, I would be bored enough to want to kill time by watching the Jets. The good thing is that I can start making dinner at 5, the game being over by then.
