I don’t have ten, but if Community is not on your list, you’re a bad person. A bad person!
Also, Parks and Rec somehow got better over the course of seasons 3 and 4 despite re-tooling the main character from a buffoon to a semi-respectable adult.
I’m still scratching my head over how they did that, and still made the show better. Perhaps it was in dialing-up the foolishness of some other characters in order to compensate.
These are the shows I watched in 2012. Doesn’t mean they are the 2012 seasons of the show:
- #1, for 2012, always and forevermore, will be the election night coverage on Fox News, especially the meltdown. Blondie takes on her own math nerds at the behest of Karl Rove! Karl Rove sees his power base disappear over a 30 minutes span! Charles Krautheimer first to throw Romney under the bus!
Nothing, really, beat the Fox News coverage a half-hour on each side of the election being called.

I haven’t followed a “current” show since Lost.
I love Community but felt the best parts of last season aired in 2011. It was easily one of the Also rans as good as the stuff I listed that I mentioned in my post though.
The only 2012 shows that I watched and ever intend to watch again are:
Justified
Elementary
I used to watch:
Modern Family
Homeland
earlier in the year but gave up on them.
Several others I had given up on years ago.
I have come to realise that many of the shows most people think are so great, I really don’t like at all. There’s a modern dramatic style to shows that I really don’t like, such as Homeland, Walking Dead, Girls, Justified, and I’ve never even seen Breaking Bad as the subject matter just doesn’t interest me.
My list isn’t really a top ten so much as just a bunch of shows I looked forward to each week in 2012.
