"Your Your Own Worst Enemy" Quote

From the old Aussie Soap Prisoner (Prisoner: Cell Block H, elsewhere) we find Myra telling off Reb and Reb shows her the what for. The clip from YouTube Ep 448

Around 1:27 Myra says “The worst enemy you got is yourself.” Reb replies something about someone being proud of her, but I can’t make out what she’s saying at 1:30 something like “John Laws would be proud of you.”

But I doubt that’s what she’s saying. My question is what exactly is Reb saying and who is she saying "would be proud of you?

It an Australian program and this episode is from the early 80s. I figure it’s got to be a famous quote by someone?

I put this here in GQ 'cause I wanted to see if it’s got a factual answer

No, she’s saying that “the John Laws” (the police, and by extension the entire apparatus of cops, guards, and social workers fighting to keep Reb from her rightful position as Queen of her Destiny) would be proud of Myra for suggesting that Reb is responsible for her actions (and thus, is already Queen of her Destiny).

“John Law” is/was common slang for “cop.”

Ah thanks. It’s hard to understand Reb at times. Janet Andrewartha who plays, Reb is an America, but unlike Betty Bobbit (also an American, who plays Judy), Andrewartha uses an accent.

nitpick: Should be “You’re your own worst enemy”

Could the reference be to John Laws who was a very well-known radio personality in Australia (now retired)?

I meant to do that
