Hmmm…I never saw the question…I’ll try again.
I, too, answered as myself and it guessed I was Kitty from That 70’s Show.
Unfortunately, it’s been down all day today. I wanted to see if it would guess Archie Bunker.
I clicked on the link yesterday, and was trying so hard to beat it, I never got back here to post my results.
Now today, when I try to link, all I get is, "Cannot find server…
I think we broke it.
My mom always said, “If you play with that thing all day, it’s gonna fall off”
I guess it did.
I keep trying to make it guess Crypt Keeper but it never does. Sigh. It always guesses Rod Serling or Neil the dog from Topper.
Among others that it has guessed:
Miss Bellum
Sailor Moon
Pikachu (but not Misty or James)
Skippy Handleman
Gary Sparrow

Maybe because tales from the crypt isn’t considered a sitcom? I am not sure what the requirments for it to guess are. If you tell it who you are after you stump it, it will get it right from then on.
It guessed Uncle Auther from Bewitched correctly. I was the 14th Uncle Auther. I tried several others, but I couldn’t stump it.
Then, Cajun Man and I decided to answer as ourselves. I am Jack from Will and Grace Cajun Man is Will.
Amazing!
As myself, it guessed me to be Roseanne. I even answered “no” to “have you ever been fat”. Cute site though.
Well, it’s working now and I was the 4th person to pretend to be Archie Bunker.
For some reason, it didn’t guess Queen Elizabeth from Blackadder II, but it did claim it had that character in its database multiple times (meaning people are responding to the same questions differently)
Blackadder fans, try QE out and see what your last question is (or if it doesn’t guess her on your run either)
I was only number 15 to be Idi Amin from Uganda, but number 299 to be Idi Amin from Rhodesia. The strange thing is that there appear to be several questions in the database after “do you eat your enemies?”.
It didn’t get Jennifer from ‘Jennifer slept here’, but I’m not sure if I recall enough details to guide it properly.
By the way, this is a fairly simple program to create. Its strength depends on assuming that it is fed perfect information and that questions in the database are truly discriminating. Doing it on the web provides a lot of input, but probably a lot of wrong input as well. Over time, it will either become hopelessly corrupted or the right answers will average out over the wrong/false ones.

Yeah, I told it who I was but still no avail. Crypt keeper is even in the database, so it must count. Eh. I can keep trying. Everyone needs a hobby. Are you sure the Crypt Keeper isn’t gay?
Apparently, I could pass for Logan Kale from Dark Angel.
Unless I become violent, in which case I could pass for Uncle Ned (Tom Hanks) from Family Ties. Except I’m not a drunk.
Also, I put Queen Athaliah of Judah in the database.
More evil stumping! Cat Grant and James I! hahahahahah!
Aha! I went in as Peter Tork, and when it asked me if I liked snacks, said, “yes”. When it figured it out, it said I was the 5th person to pick Peter.
But then I went back and said “no” on the liking snacks–because it’s not a defining part of my character like it is for say, Scooby-Doo. I was now the 39th to pick Peter–if I consider his hair short. 36th, if I consider it long.
All I really needed to know.
The 14th Commander Susan Ivanova
I put it through with my own information. And apparently, I’m Manjula from “The Simpsons.” Aww. Now all I have to do is hunt down a husband who works 20+ hours at a convenience store and give birth to eight kids in one go, and I’m set for life!
I was trying Venus Flytrap from WKRP in Cinncinnati, and got the following very unfortunate sequence of questions:
Are you black?
Yes.
Do you have a tail?
Ouch.
However, it did guess correctly.
Cripes. I tried it as myself, and it thought I was Potsie!
However, it correctly identified Genghis Kahn, Alan Brady, Francisco Franco, and thought my mom was Evita Peron. So it’s clearly highly accurate.
finally got it with Jonathan Hart.
