But what I’d really love is if they started delving a little into alt-country. I’d love to play “Impossible Germany” or any number of songs by Wilco, or any number of songs by the Jayhawks. Both bands feature good vocals and excellent instrument parts.

Jimi Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix, and more Jimi Hendrix. Seriously, there are hardly any Hendrix songs that aren’t perfect for Rock Band and (especially) Guitar Hero. They’re so perfect, in fact, I suspect it’s just a licensing problem.

Actually, Hendrix was just announced as an exclusive for GH4. Ohwell.

I sorta preferred it à la GH1, where there was too much respect for the man to even pretend to get a cover singer during Spanish Castle Magic.
