Did he ever actually say this in a regular cartoon? I only remember it from Roger Rabbit (and it wasn’t Mel Blanc doing Sam in that).

When I visit my Dad up Nawth, the first words I say to him are “I gotta burn muh boots! They touched Yankee soil!”.

I keep wanting to use this line when I visit my brother, but I keep forgetting. I’ll try again at Christmas-time this years.

I’ve been using the “Isn’t that innnnnnteresting?” line (from the Monster-in-the-Castle episode) with my 10-year old daughter for years. She and I just saw the cartoon for the first time together a few months ago. Now she knows where it comes from, and hasn’t stopped using it since.

And so it goes. From father to daughter.

Anywho, here’s a partial list of Bugs Bunny quotes (or Looney Tunes in general) that I still use…when the situation calls for them.
