YouTube.com rocks!

I just wanted to say that this website is the best. I spent most of today watching clips from the Daily Show, David Letterman, and a lot of classic Sesame Street bits I haven’t seen since I was six.

This is awesome.

I discovered youtube with the “Lazy Sunday” video thread here (I missed the SNL episode). I also saw the Star Wars Holiday Special on it. It is one of the coolest sites around.

I agree. I like looking up old 80s videos. Madness! Nik Kershaw! Oh, man.

heh… I had never thought to actually look for stuff there… I’m having way too much fun.

I haven’y had the time to nose around there yet, but I have noticed how it’s become the “next Google” almost overnight.

Question: can you download the videos there, or are they stream only?

Site that lets you download YouTube, Google video, and other similar video sites:

It’s better than google videos because google videos takes AGES to upload and process your videos. For me, it only takes about half an hour after uploading for videos to go live. Google takes something like 2 days.

I’m also a fan of vsocial.com

The funniest part is that they insist you don’t upload copyrighted material.

Google video lets you download without any additional plug-ins.

Anyway, I love the video sites. Over the last week I’ve downloaded some public domain cartoons that it’d otherwise be extremely tought to track down, like Winsor McCray’s Gertie the Dinosaur.
