Okay, so maybe that one example didn’t make a clear point of what this thread is about. Here’s another example:

Well, since this thread doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anyway, and since starting another YouTube music thread seems unlikely to do any better, I’ll just amend the idea for what sort of thing to post here.
It happens often enough that I’m sure others share a similar experience. There will be some other piece of music being played somewhere, TV commercial, background for some show, band playing at a football game, you name it. The piece will make you think of another piece that you don’t remember the name of.
When that happens to me I try to think of what I do know of the piece I’ve been reminded of and head off to YouTube to look for possible matches.
This is one I finally located after maybe an hour’s brain-racking: Bibo No Aozora / Endless Flight (Babel ending music) which we own on CD and have in the car. This particular piece is very much like something else I’ve been hearing lately, but I forget where. Does it remind you of anything?

I like playing the link game. First I’ll do a search for a music video such as Ghost Riders in the Sky - YouTube
Then I look at the featured videos. The first thing that catches my eye is this: - YouTube The Good, the Bad and the Ugly theme. and so forth and so on. I’ve come across some really neat things that way.
I do follow the links to “related videos” often. I’m usually amazed at how quickly you get to porn no matter where you start!
