The chimp is named Pankun. Search youtube for Pankun, his handlers send him out on all sorts of adventures, like planting/harvesting rice, making noodles, riding a train (includes buying a ticket), visiting a potential girlfriend at the zoo, and so on.
Oh man, speaking of Patton Oswalt: Racist cell phones, birth control, and a stupid heckler.
The absolute best part is the heckler: during a quieter part of his routine some guy in the audience screams really loudly, and Oswalt goes off the rails a bit and just destroys the guy completely and hilariously, without missing a beat. I couldn’t stop laughing. 
I’ll see your Keyboard Cat and raise you CSI Miami.
And sometimes they have the support of an equally delusional family, to the extent of trying again next year.
