Zelda on Game Boy

I sure enjoyed the first Zelda game on Game Boy…although it may have had something to do with the 19 hour flights I was commuting to work on at the time. Now I see that TWO more Zeldas have been released. I may have to drop some money. Should I buy the Game Boy extra that plays all Game Boy games, or go with the colour Game Boy? It’s about a $35 difference. Anybody have a review of these two new Zeldas?

If you stil have you’re old game boy. just buy a the color one… but if not get the other one…

If you’re a normal Zelda fan that buys the games jsut to play them… you’ll think the new ones are a halfa$$ed attempts at games… but if you’re the Zelda equivalent to a Trekie… they have good story lines…

There is one small problem with the game… They tried to take ocarina of time, and majoras mask and put them into 2d bird’s eye view form… so don’t expect any gameplay enjoyment… you’d have to be in it for the story line and puzzles to actually enjoy the 2 new ones…

But I sugest you buy one of the James bond games they kick any zelda game into next tuesday

Get the color. It will play all the gameboy games clearer and crisper, and it’s small and easy to carry.

I got a Colour GameBoy during my brief and painful abstinence from PCs during my engagement. It helped a little, but I wasn’t all that impressed. Zelda: Link’s Awakening was probably the deepest game I played. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and only gave up when I got stuck for a MONTH. The game may be deep; I am not.

The others were Tomb Raider, which was pretty impressive to be on the GBoy at all, but was still just a well-animated platform game with sparse surprises. And Mario, which is just BUILT for Nintendo. I always intended getting Metal Gear Solid as the Gboy version seemed pretty popular.

But I moved on. Now I see they’re doing a GBoy Advance thing. Ah, memories.
