Also, as I’ve said before, Zoids analogy was a lame ass analogy. I’m in full agreement there. However, I don’t think Mangetout’s stated opinion that we should ignore stuff is good policy.
So, after providing the cites he whined about, he now makes the lazy-ass demand for me (or someone) to do MORE homework for him and explain the cites to him.
Of course, I dont think we should ignore just anything; only trifles. Really, I just think we don’t need to keep asking teacher to make up new rules.

Nice try at the deflection/distraction gambit. However, the “banana” thing wouldn’t be relevant unless you actually had said that you never used the word bananas. We’re now back to “deflection” stage. Let’s see what’ll come next. Will it be a repeat of one of the existing tactics? Or will it be something less common gambit like the "just barely acceptable by the forum’s rule’s insult (sometimes followed by the insincere smiley-face)?
The one thing we know is that he won’t address the cites he whined about or the issue at hand (unless this post prompts him to. Which would be a first)

Do we really need to discuss that? I thought it was given that zoid, Czarcasm, and Mangetout, as well as Fenris, armedmonkey, me, and most of the other people who post in the Pit are assholes who don’t play well with others. It’s a prerequisite. 
Here you go, Fenris-the whole post. Note the reference to religion in the topic,(just to keep you on track as to what the conversation is actually about) then note the request for off-topic threadshitting. Even if you turn a blind eye to the preceding paragraph, in what fucking way on earth could a request for a cite be considered off-topic?

I actually agree with that. I would expand on here a bit, but I would have to talk about what should be moderated and what shouldn’t. I don’t want to do that.
I will say, however, though I like you as a poster, I thought your post in the ATMB thread was wrong headed. Zoid’s analogy didn’t make any sense, granted, but I still disagree with your basic premise that we should ignore “trifles”. There’s a couple of reasons for that.
First is that there is no way to decide what a “trifle” is. That may sound a little offenderatti, but offensive posts are only a part of what I’m getting at. If we, as a board, just decide to ignore stuff, we are wandering away from our stated purpose. Fighting ignorance. Which brings me to the second reason.
The board can’t shut up. There is no way this message board is going to be quiet about anything. The SDMB, by it’s very nature is going to call out anything and everything. Good Lord, do you remember the whole declawing cats thing? That mess even spilled over into a couple of different forums. So, when you ask the board to just ignore “trifles”, my response is that I don’t think that’s wise, or even possible.
You still want someone to spoon feed you info. I posted links where you threadshit with crying “Cite” rather than discussing/debating/doing your own fucking research. It’s not really productive because (as I said waaaaaay back in post 50), you’re not really interested in evidence, you just deny, obfuscate and threadshit and call for “Cite Please” to derail conversation.
So, other than poking you with a stick in here, I think I’m largely done demonstrating to everyone else that you are a threadshitting troll who consistently makes the board worse by his mere presence.
Also, and no cite, even if requested, you were the worst mod not only in the history of the Dope, you were the worst mod in the history of the entire internet. The board is a better place now that you can only junior mod, rather than real mod.
