Just want to add I do see that there may be room for prejudice against the culture. I did live in europe for a few years and did see the separation of the Roma culture. It just isn’t that prevalent here for most to form an opinion.

I tend to agree with him but I won’t say with 100% certainty because its not my state and I’m pretty sure there are pieces missing from the story.

Plus considering her statements about supposedly destroying his cell phone over pics, I’m worried whether such a complaint might result in no action over the sexual activity but child porn charges over some nekkid pics that either might have taken of themselves and forwarded to the other.
I know I’ve read stories about teens getting busted for “child porn” even when the pic is of their BF/GF/their own self, but hell if I’m going to Google that subject on my workplace’s network.

Anyone with a vague understanding of southern culture would know that Texas is sure as fuck not “the Old South.” The Old South consists of: Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. In contrast, there’s the Deep South: Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi. There are a lot of “southern” states that don’t count as either, and they know it.
Now, people in Texas can call themselves southern. People in Florida do, too. But they ain’t the Deep South and they ain’t the Old South and if you know what the South is, you know that. This would be akin to someone living in New Mexico and describing herself as a west coaster.
Yeah Texas is Texas. Has its own unique culture for want of a better term.
