Bloody heck - he thinks all american indians can’t read? they have to go to school just like everybody else in the US…
/thwaps him upside the head.
Pity he can’t get a clue how pathetic he is.

Did you really believe that there was a debate on this topic? Or were you aiming for the Pit and missed your Forum? (If the latter, you might want to e-mail the Mods and ask them to move it to the Forum where most Jack Chick commentaries dwell.)
Moving this from Great Debates to The BBQ Pit.
The stink lines and implied drunkard were a lovely touch.
Does he actually get new converts with this stuff?
That’s just bizarre. (I love the way he changes facts constantly but is a literalist at the same time; the tree wasn’t Sin but Knowledge of Good & Evil, which is completely different.)
I don’t get it-what the hell is with the drunk guy? He isn’t even burning in hell! And not a single, “HAW HAW HAW!”
The stink lines-loved the stink lines, though.
Has there ever been a Chick tract that wasn’t “really offensive”?
Apparently you’ve only read the one;)
Er…at the risk of defending Jack Chick  , I’m familar with this one as One Way . The exact same thing but not specifically directed at American Indians. So I don’t think the wordlessness was meant to imply they can’t read…it’s just one of his “classics”.
The words ‘really offensive’ are pretty much redundant in this context.
How come God ain’t gots no face?
I’m not sure why you state so. He necessarily thinks they can read, or else they couldn’t read the tract, and I assume that it’s targetted at them…
Who is this guy? Does a real ‘Jack Chick’ exist? Where is he from? Who pays him?
Yeesh.
Evidently, Chick seems to be able to waver between offensive and REALLY offensive.
I noticed that it’s not only American Indians in the crowd.
I notice in panel 9 what appears to be an Asian man with glasses, a blonde woman with glasses and a Mexican replete with sombrero.
And, in panel 8, a cavalry officer (soldier?) and, on the far left of that same panel (immediately to the left of the guy in sunglasses) is a priest!
Zow-eee.
So if I’m reading it right…
If you convert to Christianity, then you’ll die immediately?
That’s pretty much my thinking, exactly. “God’s Free Love Gift” is [sub]hold for really offensive comparison… wait for it…[/sub] basically a 1940s German shower.
Yikes. Doesn’t he have access to a proofreader who can point out the potential for misreading in these things?
Umm… Now, I hate/pity Jack Chick as much as anyone, but why is this cartoon so offensive? It seems to be saying “God created the world, forbade the tree, mankind fell, God walled off the garden, but saved anyone who came to him, via his son, but most people rejected this offer and wallowed in sin.” I don’t agree, but isn’t that a reasonable if oversimplified interpretation of the standard christian message?
If he did, I don’t think he would put the text about “God’s free love gift”, the Bible verses, and the big block of text at the end.
Stretching it just a trace, are we?

Shodan
