I don’t think I know exactly where Pacer’s is…I’m on the Westside…but I could find it. I know elmwood is on the eastside. I do have to spend time with a friend on Halloween (it’s his birthday) but that won’t take up the whole day/evening, just the trick-or-treating hours. Any other time would be fine, too…I’m not doing a costume this year.
Take the Shoreway/US-2/I-90 out to the Babbit Rd/East 260th exit. Stay on the Marginal past Babbit Rd until you are almost at 260th. There is a drive that angles up toward Pacers. IF you miss the driveway (since that is all light industrial and the parking lots tend to merge together), turn Right on E 260th, then turn Right immediately up a drive to Pacers. Parking is behind the building.
If coming from the South (I-271), take I-90 West toward Cleveland.
If coming from the East (US-2 or I-90), wait until the two roads merge, then get over to the right, immediately, to exit at Babbit Rd. Follow the Marginal West toward Babbit, but turn Left before Babbit to pass under the freeway (thus avoiding the second-longest stop light in the world) and, once heading East on the Marginal, follow the directions above.
For folks on Euclid or the near Eastern Suburbs who are not going out to I-271 to go North, Richmond Rd becomes E 260th as it crosses Euclid avenue. Pass by the defunct Euclid Square mall on the Left, then, as you come up the slope from crossing under the railroad tracks, just before you hit the traffic lights for Marginal, (with the freeway bridge behind them), turn left into the driveway.
(From E 260th, there is (or was) a floral display that spelled out “Pacer’s” on the slope before the building.)
Barring family crises, I’ll try to make it, but Hallowe’en is our biggest family holiday, so that specific day would be out, for me. Yahoo Map
If it was the 30th, instead of Halloween itself, I’d be more likely to be able to make it. With Halloween on a Sunday, I might not be able to - since I’ll have to be at work the next morning.
But I’m not sure, even if it was on that Saturday - I’ll watch this thread and let y’all know.
Halloween IS SUnday this year.
Sat the 30th would be okay for us, as long as we get to wear costumes.
Would Pacer’s allow kids?
My son would be coming with me.
Olmstead Falls! You were almost next door, SkipMagic! At least within 10 miles!
I forgot to talk to LillithFair last night about this, but I think Halloween night would be out for her, too…but maybe she’ll see this thread and put in her own opinion. She could be my designated driver!
