Been here since Feb and almost a thousand posts and you haven’t noticed that if one person starts a popular thread there’s always at least 2 imitators? Have a look in MPSIMS where “Ask the 50’s dad” was followed by “Ask the 50’s mom” and “Ask the 50’s anti soviet nut.”
Actually, two were started by one person, and the other was started because the OP felt comfortable enough to do so because of the other two, as the title implies.

I’m guilty as charged of replying to three boner threads. Hardly conventional behavior for a woman “of an age”, and a tad embarrassing the day after. My defense: it’s hard to leave any boner “just hanging”.
Lots of us live in a part of the world where a popular sitcom (forget the name) had a major character named Boner. It’s a good, solid, versatile word, and we should expect to see it often!
What use would be served by an inactive boner thread?
