PUGAs are thread ideas I thought I’d do every so often…maybe one a week or every two weeks. They are for fun, mostly, but also to see and compare to other members various things.
All things will be something that, you’ll find, can be beaten and ultimatly claimed by one Doper.
PUGA stands for Posting Until Goal Acheived. As in, the goal of the thread which will be found in the title.
The first PUGA is to find the shortest Doper and get them to post in this thread.
The shortest one will hold it until (obviously) someone else who happens to be shorter comes a long and gives THEIR height.
The thread will go on until we find the doper who is the shortest, obviously…or at least the shortest to post in this thread to which it can’t be refuted that they are the PUGA winner.
Right now, as there’s only one OP here (myself) I am thus far the shortest doper.
I’m 6’4.
Beat that (ha, I’m sure it’s not going to last long).
Maybe…but one thing I’ll have to really remember to put in future ones (which I tried to say in this one but I guess didn’t make it clear enough) is that “Dopermember wins” doesn’t win it.
They have to post and be IN this topic to claim their win.
And so far 5’3 seems to be the shortest doper (so far). Will amaranta hold out?
Slightly O/T (and badly worded, I’m sure): Are you “just short” or are you a “little person” (dwarf/midget)?
I only ask because I have a cousin who is 4’8", and she’s “just short” (her brother is over 6’). I see from the Little People of America website that you can become a member “To join LPA, you must be a little person (usually but not always defined as an adult height of 4’10” or under as the result of a medical or genetic condition), a family member, or demonstrate a well-founded interest in issues relating to dwarfism." Ever thought of joining? Or, are you a member?
Yeah, I’ve got a really really rare sort of dwarfism. I belonged to LPA for awhile but I don’t right now, I don’t feel the need. I did find my doctor through them, so it was worthwhile.
