I've just lit the grill and I'm wearing shorts.

It’s 9:37pm, on January 5, in Massachusetts. And it’s 56° outside. I’ve always wanted to grill in the winter. Even more, I’ve wanted to grill on my birthday. I hope the weather holds so I can do this again next Saturday.

I can’t wait. Soon, I’ll have some nice grilled steak with corn on the cob. I’ve got some beer and mashed potatoes too. This is gonna be a good night.

Any night that you have a nice grilled steak is gonna be a good night. Even a hamburger is transformed when it’s grilled.

56!! It was 56 here today, too. S-S-SO C-C-C-OLD!!! I could barely make it from the house to the car and then from the car into work. Holy crap, is it cold out. Brrrrr.

That’s what living here 10 years does to you.

Seventy degrees here in NJ. We have the windows open and the heat off. I love it. OTOH, I got a call earlier from my sister in Las Cruces, NM. It was snowing.

52 and cloudy here, but it was in the 60s yesterday and raining.

I’m probably grilling burgers tonight.

It’s been hovering around freezing in TBay – a couple of years ago it was around 30 below.

This year’s warmth and the ongoing drought have caused very poor skiing.

Frickin el nino.

70 here in Philly today – I think I’ve probably worked outside in January before, but not planting bulbs and doing some cleanup. And definitely not wearing just a long-sleeved T-shirt.

I don’t think I’ve ever worked outside wearing just a long-sleeved t-shirt. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s reassuring–I’d hate to think you lit the grill while you were nekkid

It’s 84 degrees here in West Palm Beach. Almost everyone is in shorts today, and many of my neighbors are down by the pool. Unfortunately I have to finish a big project for work, so I’ll be sitting in front of my laptop.

I just went for a 30 mile ride through Lexington and Concord. Making the best of a bad situation.

BRING BACK WINTER! This sucks in so many ways.
