Also, for those of you who are already in for this, please just reiterate that in this thread. I don't think we've settled on an exact time yet.

You know me - I'll never miss a night of drinking and depravity!

ETA: oh right, and pool too. I understand there's pool...

Have fun guys! I'm heading over to Burbank airport to pickup my mom, she's visiting for a week so I have to pass on this trip.

I'll do everything I can to come to the April outing though!

I'll have to pass as well - my sister's bridal shower is this Saturday. See you in April.

I'm proposing a time of 7:30pm to accomodate some who are otherwise occupied during the day. Is there any objection?

I'll be there. How do we identify ourselves? Is everyone going to be wearing tin-foil hats?

Look for the goat?

I'm planning on wearing one of my kitty hats. So I'll be the lost looking girl with the cat ears gazing around in fear (damn social anxiety. I don't even really have it anymore but it still kills me.)

Do we get name tags? Cuz I suck with names. And I have, like, four I could put down (Silvercat / S'kat, Kitty, Real Name, and ...)

I'm the bear with the crown.

OK, in all seriousness, I'll post whatever me and the husband are wearing. Probably flying school colors, though. That's how we roll.

I'll be this guy, but without the tux. I'm the one that shows up really early and looks really enthusiastic. If you overhear anyone talking about bowling or Roscoe's, that's me.

I just realized... I have a black Chicago Reader t-shirt from mod days So just wave me down when I walk past you.

Anyone know of the parking scene at this place? Street or structure?

I haven't been there yet, but it's my understanding that it's street parking only.

There's a pay lot outside the place, but it looked a little on the small side.

Um... work kind of blew up last night and I'm going to have to go in today and I don't know how long I'm going to have to stay. I don't know that I'm going to make it tonight, I'm very sorry to say.

Looks like I'll be slightly late too. I decided to actually socialize with my family =^.^= But I'll be there. Watch for the blue kitty hat.

Am running late but should be leaving soon (like after a shower since I just got back from running). Man, does this place vend comestibles? I'm famished.

It was wonderful hanging out with you guys yesterday. Always a pleasure to hang with Dopers, and I was very pleased to see some fresh meat new faces. Brad, you were especially missed. I hope you make it to the next one.

And lest I forget, our pic!

ETA: thought the caption would show up, but it didn't.

My pic turned out badly so you don't get to see it. I really need to get a new camera, but I'm cheap. And I don't want to do the research to figure out which one I want to buy.

It was great, but next time we've got to go someplace quieter.

I agree...but a good time nonetheless! It was great meeting the new folks (whom I hope to see much more of) as well as some of the regulars.

Queen Bruin, thanks for the picture!

See all of you next time at the bowling alley.

Sorry I couldn't make it gang. Work absolutely killed me this weekend. I'm glad you all had a great time. How did the venue work out for you all? Parking? Neighborhood? Crowd? Food & beverages?

I sorely hope to make the next one...

Parking was fine -- there was actually valet parking directly adjacent to the building. I don't know if others parked on the streets or not.

Given the parking lot and enclosed building, I didn't find the neighborhood to be a factor at all.

There were a lot of people there, but it didn't feel crowded at all to me. There is seating all over the place, so even when we weren't playing, we had places to sit and talk. It was definitely loud, though.

I had fish & chips and a Shirley Temple, both of which were just fine. I didn't think to ask anyone else how their food and drink was.
