Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs{RO}
I hate to make my first post a RO thread, but I'm depressed as hell after I was tricked into watching this terribly sad video of some psychos killing a man in Ukraine. Here's a short news article about it (SFW) :
http://www4.mignews.com.ua/en/articles/305458.html The video itself can be found over at theync(google it) by typing the words Strongest Possible Warning into the search box at the site--should be first vid. But for those that don't like to watch disturbing-as-hell videos, it basically boils down to mobile phone footage of some guys beating a bum or street person of some sort, to death. They use a toy squirt gun to bash his face into a red blob, then one of them scrambles his brains through an eye and finishes him off with a hammer. They take their time. This is so sick and I feel like a wimp for posting a boo-hoo thread about a sick internet video(of which there are thousands) but damn. Why do people have to be so fucked up? Anyone else been so deeply affected by an internet vid? |

There was one I saw of what was described as a Chechnyan soldier sawing through the throat of a Russian soldier with a large knife. His gurgling scream was the worst.

Be happy that the perpetrators have (apparently) been brought to justice, and try not to think about it.
I'm not watching the fucking video myself, though.

I once watched one of those beheading videos.A contractor for the US in Iraq I believe it was. The didn't even use a sword. I've experienced a lot of violence in my life but that brought tears to my eyes. The amount of hate and anger that it takes to do that I can barely imagine.
Absolutely fucking savage. |

I didn't even watch the Daniel Pearl video (which may be the video Omegaman is referring to), but my dad wanted to see it so I queued it up for him and left the room.
It was the first time I'd ever been upset that we lived in a small house. I could not escape the sound of the video. It was truly, truly gut-wrenching. Funny thing is, I've seen that sort of thing in movies and it's no big deal. But once it's real life...man, it's a totally different thing. |

I actually met Daniel Pearl a couple of times. He played in an amateur bluegrass band that did open mikes at this bar I hung out at occaisionly.
I can't get my head around that level of brutality. |
