In this thread, some (presumably) male posters list “having a penis” as one of their genetic gifts. I must confess to not understanding why on earth I would be proud of having a penis.
I mean geez. It’s a penis! What’s so fantastic about it? I know that if I had to lose something, I’d miss my thumb or leg more than I’d miss my penis.
So I guess a couple of questions: do you like/love your penis? Is your penis an essential part of you? How sad would you be if you were missing your penis?
I’d be very sad if I lost my penis, but I think losing my sight/hearing/ability to walk/a limb would be more debilitating. I think a penis, from a personal point of view, is a “nice to have” rather than a “must”. I’d definitely miss it though.
You should probably spend less time sticking it in oatmeal then.
Whilst I definitely like other people’s peni (?) I wouldn’t say more than my own, unless they’re particularly pretty/big. But then I’ve got a nice dick so don’t feel in any way inadequate about it.
It does what it was designed to do, albeit some of its duties less now than it once did. I like to think that it hasn’t retired so much as turned to consulting.
Since I’m pretty sure Tabby_Cat is a guy, I’m sure he’d be pretty happy to have his clit gone. It wouldn’t be confusing him any longer.
For me, if I had to choose between losing an eye or a finger and losing my penis, I’d have to think damn long and hard (ha!) about that one. I think I’d go with finger. Maybe I’d choose to keep my eye over my penis, but I’m not entirely sure. I do have another one of those, after all.
I think once you get into foot or arm or leg I guess it becomes an easier (!) choice. But I’d still miss “me” time. Not to mention “us” time.
Hmm. Is it about the fun and games, or is it something else? I can sort of understand not wanting to be orgasm-less for the rest of your life, but really, that’s not even a choice for me, if I had to choose between an arm and my penis.
All the male / female dynamics, sexism blah blah blah aside,
I would much rather have male equipment than female…if for nothing more than the ability to pee standing up and the lower incidence of UTI.
When my wife got pregnant I wanted a son purely because it is much easier with a son when he says he needs to pee NOW - just find a convenient tree or drain.
