You guys are causing me some existential angst by being too on the ball. Some troll-type person posted a “Come the revolution” warning in MPSIMS. I posted a snarky reply. The two posts were 90 seconds apart. By the time I reloaded the page, both the OP and my reply had been disappeared. Made me pause for a bit, it did.

I got that one. Normally I’m happy to allow snarking on morons, but that thread was posted by that David Mabus guy and we’re tired of seeing him.
So, what will happen come the revolution? Do I need to wear a bullet-proof vest, or prepare to be nominated to the Committee of Public Safety, or both? I like to know these things in advance.
Probably both, since come the Revolution there will come the Counter-Revolution, followed by the Counter-Counter-Revolution, etc.
He’s a good argument for a “Pokes With Sticks” forum.
Block it off from Google spidering and have at it. 
He’s all over the internet, so there are plenty of places to poke him with a stick. I’d just as soon it not happen here.
Could you explain further? Would the Greensboro sit-in be considered a Counter Revolution?
I’ve run into the same deal sometimes. See obvious spam, report it and/or comment and poof, it’s gone before I’m finished. Often by Marley, sometimes Colibri. I think both of them burn the midnight oil sometimes.

Thanks for the recognition, but I’m not worthy to be mentioned in the same breath with Marley the Spaminator. The guy has, no exaggeration, 50 times more kills than I do, even though he became a mod more recently.
Most of us just step on the roaches when we come across them. Marley hunts them down and roots them out where they live.
Ahhhh…then if the SDMB were like WoW, Marley would be wearing Epic Jackboots.
