Chinese counterfeiting - explain the sociology
I was listening to this NPR story this morning I started thinking about the prevalence of Chinese conterfeits that exist throughout the world.
My question is from the sociological standpoint; what has occured in China's history that they seemingly have bred a race of people with no morals insofar as theft is concerned? I understand there are other countries that produce conterfeits and engage in the theft of intellectual property, but -- I don't believe -- not on the scale that comes from China. Why is that? |

You think a thread claiming that a country of people have been bred to have no morals regarding theft is going to stay in GQ? Good luck with that.

Is it possible to discuss an issue in General Questions with "bred a race of people with no morals" in the OP?

[moderating]
Gilles de Rais, how about if you try rephrasing this and posting it in either Great Debates (if you're really looking for a discussion on the topic) or the Pit (if you just want to spout off). It does not belong here. Thread closed. [/moderating]
