bumping. Come on guys, it's summer, let's go!
I propose either the Yard House, or Dim Sum. |
|

I could probably make the Yard House.
|
|

Which one?

I like the one in Costa Mesa myself, but I'm flexible.

Location should depend on the attendees. Downtown LA may end up making more sense.

I'm in.

Desert Rat checking in....I am interested as well.
This is just a shot in the Dark.....Stone Brewery and Bistro in Escondido. (Maybe more apt for San Diego Dopers....or gasp....an LA/SD dopefest? |

I'm interested, but downtown LA would be easier for me because of the train.

Given my druthers Dim Sum in China Town, Pasadena, or the Yard House in Costa Mesa (with a field trip to Ho Times Liquor) gets my vote.

I might be able to attend depending on when and where the event is held.

It's hard being BevMo's little brother. It's just a phase. He's doing it for attention.

Is there a Downtown L.A. option you guys want to give? As of right now, Costa Mesa Yardhouse is the most popular.
I have free seats in my car if anyone needs to carpool. I'll ask about dates either tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning. |

What was the dim sum place? Empress?

Empress Pavilion.
And, again, there's a Yardhouse in Downtown LA, as well. |

I'm interested. I like some Dim Sum.

There's also the Pasadena Yard House too....and Brea, and Rancho Cucamonga (ok...I'm being a little selfish there)....

Pasadena or Brea would work for me. RC is getting a bit out there.

I can probably do Pasadena depending on when.

Pasadena sounds OK for me also, as long as it's near the Gold Line.

So far it seems like the Pasadena Yardhouse is the most popular. I originally wanted to go to the Costa Mesa location but a Friday night Pasadena Dopefest would be extremely convenient for me.
Does Pasadena sound good for everyone? Who wont be able to make it there because of the location? |

I looked on Google maps and it seems like it's a .4 mile walk from the gold line.

I can do Friday but would prefer a weekend.

The traffic on a Friday will be a whole lot worse. I'd vote for a weekend.

Pasadena sounds great to me....love the 15 and 210 freeways. No July 7th for me though, even though that would be really soon anyways.

And we can drop you back off on the line on the way out.

Pasadena looks like the winner.
Now the question is when. I can't go on the 7th or 21st. I am clear on the 14th and the 28th, and any Sunday. How about the rest of you?

I can't commit to a date before the end of the month due to some open-ended work-related travel, but the only dates I can't make for certain are the 14/15th. Hopefully, whatever you guys pick will end up working.

So on July 31 you can tell us if you can make it on the 21st.?
Interesting. Not sure how that works, but interesting.

28 or 29 Pasadena Yard House.

I'd join for Stone Brewery. One advantage of San Diego over LA is it's not, you know, a stinking hell hole.
