I have been a subscriber to msn for 2 years now. I have always been satisfied with their service, but recently i upgraded to the latest MSN Explorer browser. My problem is when i try to print something, i basically get a blank page.
Is there some way I have to configure things to get it to print? The only way I can print anything is to right-click and copy text then paste it into a Microsoft works blank page. Highly annoying.

Please, help!

No actual clue, but my WAG would be that it's something to do with your printer. Did you also get a new printer? Check the settings?

Also, tell us what software and version of Windows you're running. You had IE 5.0 before and now you're running IE 5.5? What kind of computer is it?

okay, here goes: The printer is the same one I've always had, a Canon BJC-250. No new settings have been put in place at anytime.
My machine is an eMachine 400idx, on which I'm running Windows 98.
Not sure which version of msn explorer, but I downloaded it fairly recently so I think it might be 5.5.

Does any of this help?

If the butterfly icon has "Launch MSN Explorer" written under it, you have version 6.1. If it has "MSN internet access", you probably have 5.4, and it can mess up your modem and possibly printer drivers during the forced upgrade by re-assigning the ports.

My suggestion would be to call MSN tech support and ask them to help you set up a manual dial-up connection, set it as the default connection and use Internet Explorer instead of the msn software. IE doesn't look like a toy for 3rd grade girls. And uninstall MSN software from Add/remove software in control panel.

As for the printer, I would uninstall it from device manager. After the reboot, disable your anti-virus software and re-install it if Windows PnP doesn't re-installit itself.
