Okay, punk, first of all.....

I'm glad you stayed!

Yeah, I was reading the thread where you followed Esprix over from that comic book board. Everyone thought, "Oh, shit! One of them came over!!"
And then, to everyone's shock, you turned out to be a reasonable, intelligent guy!

I keep running across your posts in various threads (your name is kind of hard to miss) and have found them to be thoughtful, intelligent, and sometimes funny as hell! I wanted to say so occasionally, but didn't want to hijack those threads.

So here you go fred (Can I call you fred?). From the lofty position of my 3 whole months on the SDMB, let me tell you that you are my favorite newbie.

(BTW, you're not really 14, are you?)

Okay: Apologies to Pit purists. I know this should have gone into MPSIMS, but I don't know if Grimmy ever looks there. So, appy polly loggies for the love-fest in the Pit.

actually, i was rather hoping he would stay from about the second page of that thread, just after he did his thing about playing by the rules of where you happened to be at the moment.

that's when i knew he was a keeper!

[sub]so, grim, when do you want the orgy?

I thought this was going to be a bashing so I dropped in to defend the guy and it's a love-fest!

Still, I'm glad you stayed as well.

Just keep your warm fuzzies to yourself, thank you.

I appreciate grimsprectreofreddeath too. And this is the only time I'll refer to you by your full name. It's back to Grimmy after this.

Yup, me too, exactly what Ferrous said. I was about to post the same thing after your hilarious post in ozonebaby's "People" thread the other day, but I didn't want to hijack the thread (and I was too lazy to look up the links.)

I think your behavior in the initial thread showed you to be a class act, and I've truly enjoyed the other posts I've seen from you since then. I'm glad to see you're sticking around.

Hah! I called him Grimmy first! I'm entirely pleased that I called it right when I said thegrimspectreofreddeath had what it takes, and I was looking forward to him sticking around.

thegrimspectreofreddeath: Damn, but that's a long name to type!

I think that's Speaker for the Dead. This place is just crawling with young'uns. Who is the one who's like 12 or something--Queen Isabella? maybe?

And let's not forget Jester--you just can't touch him. No really--he's only 16. (thanks Rue)

No, but I figured that if I told everyone I was a teenager, their expectations would be lower, and thus, easier to exceed. I'm really 11.

Esprix: I was hoping you would stop by this thread. I owe you something for directing me here, in a roundabout way. I actually found this place by searching google for "esprix", which I suppose makes me a hopeless loser.

Thanks again, everyone. I finally have a thread to link to in my sig line.

It does, but there's a SDMB Hopeless Loser CliqueTM here, too. Fenris is not only the president - he's a member!
