Funny and sexy at the same time

Reaching way back, Thelma Todd.

Lisa Kudrow, quite easy on the eyes and flawless comedic timing. A gem, that one!

For just a breif moment I read that as Goldengirls, and thought “Bea Arthur?”:dubious:.

Anne Hathaway was pretty darn good in Get Smart.

Cameron Diaz fits the OP perfectly.

I’ll also second Tea Leoni, while not being able to dramatic-role her way out of a wet paper bag, she is a very funny girl and brilliant in comedies.

Marlene Dietrich in Destry Rides Again.

Cameron Diaz in There’s Something About Mary.
Funny, but still sexy.

Mary Lynn Rajskub!

Ohhhhh. you mean “Get Smart” the movie.
I nominates Barbara Feldon.

(yes, I’m old)

Betty Hutton was pretty good too.

Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge.

Gilda Radner

Jen Aniston, Sarah Silverman, and Marisa Tomei.

I don’t think Gilda Radner was particularly sexy.

Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy.

Ah, but somebody does.

I am impressed and heartened by the number and variety of nominations so far. I notice they’re only coming one or two at a time, and with few duplicates, which suggests a new theory. That the particular alchemy needed to achieve this feat is a matter of extreme personal taste. Humor is subjective, and so is sexiness; getting them both right at the same time is a miracle.

Good call, Wheelz, I forgot about Téa Leoni.

Nothing yet from the other side of the aisle, so to speak. Feel free to nominate any guys who fit the criteria.

Kate Hepburn. My goodness, that woman was a looker.

Hugh Laurie.
ETA: Sara Gilbert

Didn’t really do it for me, but inspired one of the all-time greatest compliments in movie history.

I thought Heather Graham was pretty damn funny when she was on Scrubs for a few episodes.

Some overlap with earlier picks. I’d say:

All three female leads in Friends.

Linda Fiorentino in Men in Black.

Karen Allen in Animal House and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading Places and True Lies.

Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny.

Julie Lous-Dreyfus in Seinfeld.

Andie McDowell in Groundhog Day and Multiplicity.

Missy Peregrym in Reaper.

Sarah Chalke in Scrubs.

Keira Knightley in Pride & Prejudice.
