A friend’s nephew is getting married on 10/10/10 as well. I don’t know what time, though; I’m not invited.
Me, I got no plans. Maybe I’ll drink 10 beers or something.

As for me, to celebrate a 50th anniversary, I’m going to spend half the time at the same depth.
Our local Hooters is having a 10/10/10 day. Buy 10 wings, get 10 free. All day.
Sounds like a good way to spend football day. I just hope all the waitresses are 10’s. 
One of my favorite authors, Steve Alten, is releasing his new book that day titled Grim Reaper. It’s especially cool because he does contests for people to be put into the book and I’m going to be in this one!!! I don’t know my capacity or character (I do know it’s not me, just my name) but I am in it nonetheless.
I’ll have to report back and see how I’m used. But I am running out and buying that ASAP.
[sigh]… now you’ve gone and put the idea into my head, and I’ll have to drink ten shots in ten minutes. I’ll get back to you all once I’ve gotten over the alcohol poisoning.

I’ll be celebrating (bemoaning, actually) my birthday too. So will one of the mods, if my memory serves.
In the morning I’ll be sleeping off a night shift, in the afternoon I’ll be celebrating my birthday, 49.
A country will cease to exist on that day (well, a territory, but close enough)
As a geography/vexillology/anthems geek, this holds immense interest for me. I have a large version of that territory’s flag (back from when the Pan Am Games were hosted here), I’ll hoist it on that day and play its national anthem (I have four versions of it, two instrumental, two vocal).
Do I win the prize for doing the most geekiest thing on 10/10/10, even by SDMB standards?
