10 Hot Dogs 8 Hot dog buns

I am writing a proposal for a class I’m taking, directed towards the wonder bread company about adding two more buns to the package in order to increase sales. I am suppose to take a survey of how many people would buy them if they were to increase the bun count to ten since they would be the only company offer ten buns. So how many of you would start buying them because they would be the only company offering ten buns???

Link to the article:
Why do hot dogs come 10 to a pack while buns are 8 to a pack?

But then what would we do with the two empty buns, after the usual two hotdogs get dropped on the floor and snaffled by the dog?

Why, feed them to the dog, too, of course! And while you’re at it, ask him if he wants any mustard, too, to be polite.

In response to the OP, I never bother buying hot dog buns anyway; I just eat them on a folded slice of bread.

Meaning it’s as incorrect and wilfully deluded as MM’s work?

Assuming all other factors to be equal, not me, unless I happen to be planning to serve an even multiple of 9 or 10 hot dogs.

I, too, use a folded piece of sandwich bread as buns have too much bread.

There are eight-packs of hot dogs you can buy and that soules the problem completely.

Should the polling question now be:

Would you be more inclined to purchase hot dog buns in ten-packs and hot dogs in ten-packs or would you be more inclined to buy hot dog buns in eight-packs and hot dogs in eight-packs?
