Breaking out does not equal breaking free. When your life has been in a box, the only way out is through.

The two 12 year old girls in Wisconsin are being charged with attempted homicide as adults in the slender man stabbing of a third 12 year old.
No sign of social services, like several years since?
Seems like a whole bunch of people who could have been the access point to this family mess. Services messed up long before any individual - should never have got within years of this event.

Not in Florida. The youngest person to be tried as an adult in Florida would have been Cristian Fernandez at 12, but he pled out last year. Lionel Tate (one of the “wrestling murder” killers that started a brief panic in the 1990s) was about the same age and was convicted and originally sentenced to life without parole, but the sentence was later overturned. Since then SCOTUS has ruled that juveniles cannot be sentenced to LWOP on the basis of mandatory sentencing laws anyway.
It apprears that justice was served for the two girls. Unfortunately, their brother is beyond help.
