17-year-old Daniel Radcliffe to appear nude on stage

So my prior post (#30) didn’t help you feel better?

So polite, though!

And Elijah Wood loses it big time because he played a hobbit. I am more flexible about height than I ever was, but four feet just doesn’t cut it.

Go ahead and snerk.

Sorry - can’t let that go, Anaamika - Elijah Wood’s hotter than that wannabe partly BECAUSE he played a hobbit.
(I’m a LOTR nut; got seriously bored with Harry Potter after the first book; same for the movies. Couldn’t finish any of them after the first. Just don’t like em.)

Of course, all IMHO

I think Daniel Radcliffe is much hotter than Elijah Wood. Wood’s neck freaks me out.

He plays with his wand in bed in the third one.

Just sayin’.
WAND, people! C’mon, it’s begging for it!

It isn’t pornography FFS. It’s a play.

He looks great, he fits the role. Fair play to him. Hopefully he can pull the role off well and make the leap away from Harry Potter off.

Nah, I never thought hobbits were hot. Hairy feet, you know? And I never thought much of Daniel, either - until now.

You even have to ask?

I was a bit worried about checking for one but this one’s nowhere near as skeevey as the one that I found for Haley Joel Osment that was in fact maintained by a NAMBLA enthusiast.

For me, it’s the “happy trail.” (I’m a 24 year old female.)

Seriously, Daniel has grown up quite nicely; taking on a role like this is good for him and his career. I’m surprised at all the people getting upset about his nude scene; I didn’t think the UK was weird about things like that.

Here’s another where he has his hair combed.

He’s kind of furry for 17, by the time he’s in his 20’s they’ll probably have to shave him down like they do Alec Baldwin.

(I kid the kid - I’m kind of furry myself)

I don’t suppose anyone can give me a synopsis of Equus? The quick searches I’ve done of Amazon and Wikipedia don’t give much other than a psychiatrist treating a teenager who horribly blinded some horses and then has to face his own demons.

Maybe I’m being a bit icky here, but the article says Radcliffe has an “lengthy” love scene. Now, he may be a professional actor and all, but he is a 17 year old boy. Is there any thought given to ahem any physical reaction he may have during the scene? :o

If you get HBO, try and catch the latest episode of *Extras[/]i with Daniel Radcliffe as a guest star. He plays himself, but in a comical way, as a 17 year old trying to act like an adult and a movie star (not as an adult movie star, mind you).

As my 12th grade drama teacher explained to us right before we started the play:

Equus is a story about a boy who loves horses.

(The less flippant answer goes something like this: it follows a psychologist as he explores the underlying causes of the boy’s extensive psychosis. There are all SORTS of things going on within that framework… it’s a pretty deep play if you’re the english-major-type to look into things that way, and one of my favorites from that drama class, actually.)

I volunteer, and if anyone wants clippings, email me.*

Given your use of the BJ smiley, yeah, I’d guess someone has. Heh.

*Don’t email me.

If such a thing were to happen, it would only enhance the scene. Its called method acting dear.
(After I said I’d be good and everything…)

The idiocy brought up in the OP reminds me of the pathetic fanboys who protested when Samuel L Jackson was cast as Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequels. Their grounds for objection? Because they associated Jackson too strongly with the role he played in Pulp Fiction, and insisted that this would destroy any credibility he might have lent to the part of a Jedi Master.

Give me an effin break.

(Those of you that have an appreciation for male anatomy may now return to your previous discussion.)

OK, Equus is in the wayback dept for me, but IIRC, a “reaction” would not fit the plot.
BTW is a “happy trail” what I think it is?

You say that as if someone’s been stopping you. Color me not buying it.

–and in other news, Mark Foley and Ted Haggard were seen boarding a flight to London.
