Well I’m not sure how I ended up hostessing a party someone else thought up but since you’re here…
Welcome! Feel free to kick your shoes off at the entry (or leave them on if you prefer), cups, ice and sodas are in the kitchen use the fridge thing for the filtered water. If you want anything with more “punch” it’s BYO. Leave your potluck contribution on the dinning table or the sideboard in the dining room here on your right unless it’s a dessert. Let’s have the desserts on the table in the breakfast area by the back entrance and patio. Powder room is on your left after the entry coat closet. The front living room immediately to your left has plenty of seating, or if you prefer there is a fireplace, pool table and game cube in the family room just past the the powder room.
Since Toon’s was so anxious to volunteer my home, please feel free to give him your coats. When the entry closet is full, they can go in the guest room closet or on the bed in there.
Toon’s you’re also officially in charge of making sure the waste baskets remain empty and are refreshed with liners throughout the evening.
As for my contributions to the evening, other than my home of course:
A Vegetable Tray with Dill Dip It will have fresh asparagus spears, jicama, sugar snap peas, mushrooms, green beans, carrots, celery, cucumber, peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, scallions and of course a yummy dill dip.
A tray of Turkey BLT, Veggie, and Chicken Caesar Mini Pitas A lovely fruit tray with a creamy fruit dip.
A variety of cheeses prettily displayed with an assortment of crackers.
and a homemade pecan pie.
Come on in!
