2 1/2 Men 12/15--Emilio Estevez and James Earl Jones

Could Emilio look any more like his father Martin Sheen? And what a surprise having James Earl Jones deliver Charlie’s eulogy.

I generally don’t like dream sequences in shows, but that one worked.

Easy joke but I chuckled anyway, when Charlie introduced Emilio to Alan: “He’s like the brother I never had.”

That family has some weird thing where Charlie and Emilio don’t look like each other (well, they do sometimes) but both of them look like their dad. And by god they are nice to look at. Emilio was a little chunky though.

I did love that episode - especially at the very end with JEJ - “men.”

That was a great episode! Seeing Charlie and Emilio together was a real treat.
I have enjoyed “Two and a Half Men” since its third season – the last two years have been more “hit and miss” as far as I am concerned, with some hilarious episodes mixed in with some clunkers, but it is always fun to watch Sheen and Cryer. They are an excellent comedic team. All the other actors are superb, as well.

Their timing is great, isn’t it? Ordinarily I don’t notice, but I did last night because Estevez was just a hair off. Sheen and Cryer make it look so easy. Not to mention Berta, Jake, and Mom.

We only started watching over the last few months, and mostly we catch the repeats at 6 or 6:30.

I never watched the show until the repeats, because the characters and premise didn’t appeal to me. Watching Charlie Sheen play…Charlie [del]Sheen[/del]Harper? What a stretch.

The supporting cast is superb and makes the show.
