2 South Park questions.

  1. What is your favorite episode?
2.Do you think they have ever gone too far on the show?

  2. Tie between the Cartmans Dawsons Creek Trapper Keeper Ultura 2000 and ASSPEN.

  3. I think the abortion episode either crossed a line that shouldn’t have been crossed, or came very close to it. Where that one came from is beyond me.

  1. Any episode that featured Timmy, particularly Timmy as the hard rock vocalist.

  2. There is no ‘too far’.

  1. Anything with Mr. Hankey or involving Christmas.

  2. Maybe when Eric Cartman fed that annoying teenager his ground up dead parents in his contest chili. That was a bit much.

elfc, I love that episode (the pubes one).

  1. I don’t know what my fave ep is. I’ll have to think about that one. It may be when all the ‘richers’ moved into South Park.

  2. I’m with spooje; there’s no such thing as too far.

  1. The alien abduction episode, the scene where Cartman has the 80 foot radio antenna coming out of his ass and yet he is utter incredulous, completely cracks me up.

  2. I haven’t seen too many of them, so I don’t know if they have.

  1. Butters’ Very Own Episode (“You’re a goddamn murdering liar!”)

  2. My jaw dropped at the “Mr. and Mrs. Tenorman Chili” episode, but I’m with the masses: there is no “too far.”

-Dirty

  1. Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Special. Especially “Christmas Time in Hell” and the line “Remember, boys and girls, for some people, Christmas is about Jesus, too!”

  2. Nope. My wife, however, thinks they ALL go too far, so it averages out.

Yep- jaw dropping.

I think it was “Scott Tenorman must die”.

Overall- the movie when “Unclef*cker” started-- woah! This isn’t Comedy Central anymore.

Butters very own episode was over the top too.

“White Swallow Inn”

:stuck_out_tongue:

  1. A tie between “Starvin’ Marvin” and “Chicken Lover”. And of course, that movie was better than any of the ordinary episodes.

  2. The “Scott Tenorman must Die” just went too far. It was a great episode, and suddenly, after Cartman delivered the “gotcha” - I couldn’t laugh, all I could do was stare in horror with my mouth agape. If I can’t laugh at it, it’s gone too far for me.

Hard to say what my favorite episode is.

Some of my favorites are: “Ike’s Wee Wee,” “Gnomes,” “Fingerbang,” “Helen Keller, the Musical,” “Scott Tenorman must Die,” “Butters Very Own Episode,” “Fun With Veal,” and “Bebe’s Boobs Destroy Society.”

Did they go too far in “Scott Tenorman Must Die” or “Cartman Joins NAMBLA?” Maybe…but it was funny!

Jman

  1. The Osama bin Laden episode was the second best, and #1 is Cartman gets an anal probe.

2)I agree. Scott Tenorman Must Die just plain sucked. Too gross, and too far. I almost stopped watching South Park because of it.

  1. A tie.
-“Spookyfish”. The evil Cartman was great
-“Mecha-Streisand”. The scene where they’re insulting a disguised Babs cracks me up no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

2. Maybe, but my feeling is that comes with the territory. I forget what episode it was in, but there was a scene where Cartman unknowingly gives some guy a handjob to earn money. I thought that crossed the line with the suggestion of child molestation, but I also thought the NAMBLA episode was absolutely hilarious. I expect the show to come close to the line every episode, so I can’t complain too much if they occasionally cross over it.

My favorite is “Not Without My Anus” I quote that one daily. “You’re a dick!”, “No, you’re a dick!”, “No, you’re a dick!”
I think they don’t go far enough. They attack everything pretty harshly but they’ve always been pretty easy on religion. I seriously doubt they’re religious so I’ve never been able to figure this out.

My favorite?

Underpants Gnomes…
I’m not sure about others - there are a lot that I like. The one where Ike is running for president of his kindergarten (?) class is pretty funny - I can’t remember the name though.

I can’t pick a favorite, and I agree with those who say there is no too far. But, maybe the farthest they went, in my opinion, was the episode where “Crazy Kenny” was to spend 6 hours in Miss Crabtree’s uterus. That was friggin’ nasty, when the squished slimy Kenny lookalike oozed out of her snatch. Then when the second kid fell out, my god. Yes, I was very entertained!

  1. The Richers. “Oh no, you’re not sitting back here. You cash-chuckers sit up at the FRONT of the bus!” “Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson!” also rates highly.

  2. There is no too far. There have, however, been several jaw-dropping moments, each of which was more stunning than the last. The first ever was Cartman dressing as Hitler for Halloween, which didn’t hold a candle to Cartman thinking he was a Vietnamese prostitute, walking around shouting “Hey, soldier-boy! Suckee-suckee, five dollar!” That, in turn, paled in comparison to the Scott Tenorman and Crazy Kenny episodes.

Also the one where they jerk off the dog a few times in teh epsidoe. That was nasty.
