That’s great, WhyNot. I think sometimes what happens is that we go plodding along, slow loss, slow loss, maybe a bit of a gain, slow loss, then, bam! A bunch drops off all at once. I know that’s what happened to me last time I did WW. I could look at the little tracking card they gave me, and read my monthly cycle on it!

Well, new ‘before’ pics would be quite a trick, wouldn’t it? But you’re not the only one nagging me to update my photos. I’ll see if I can get to that in the next few days.
Oi, my math sucks. But not by as much as you’d think! I was half a point off doing this all in my head with no handy WeightWatchers.com in the middle of the woods. Here it is:
1 Keebler Graham cracker (that’s half a serving) = 1 point, or 65 cal, 1.75 g fat and .5 g fiber
1 Marshmallow (large) = 0 points; 23 cal, 0 fat, 0 fiber
1/5 (that’s three rectangles) Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar = 2 points; 60 cal, 3.6 fat, 0 fiber
You could lower it further, of course, using low-fat graham crackers and dark chocolate (or shudder sugar free chocolate). Still, a really satisfying sweet gooey snack for less points than half a cup of ice cream! (And even before I [del] dieted [/del] started eating better, I felt ill if I had two s’mores - one s’more and a bonus marshmallow makes me a happy camper!)

I’ve been reading these weight loss threads for a long time (maybe a year?), but I wasn’t a member then, so I couldn’t post.
I decided to lose about 50lbs about 18 months ago, and in 4 months I lost 30. Then, I sort of fell off the wagon, and nothing has happened since. I maintained that 30lbs, but didn’t lose any more until about June. Early June I got back to the gym, and I’ve lost 3 since then. This seems so slow to me, but I always hear that it gets harder as you get down there. I’m trying to stick with it!
All you can do it stick with it, Meyer6. I’m so so so close to my goal, and it is going ridiculously slowly.

Partly because each time you lose a pound, you require maybe 7 calories less per day (it depends on how active you are), because you don’t have to lug that pound around any more. Lose 30lb and that’s 200 calories less per day you need to consume (or 200 calories more you need to expend) to maintain the same rate of weight loss, than when you started.

I weighed in at 165.4 this morning. Woohoo! 80 pounds gone and 45 more to go!
Ha! But you cannot see the melty candlewax part of my thighs at the top! Seriously, most of my weight is now in the middle.

I am 167.5 as of this am!!! This is THE lowest I have been in about 6-7 years. I’m ecstatic.
Finally, the weight is dropping again. Total loss 97.5 lbs. so far. Trying for 100!
So, anyone have any challenges coming up? I have a big picnic/BBQ on Sat. but I feel ok with it. I’m going to bring a bunch of veggies for me to munch on. Now that I’m under 170, I don’t want to do anything to screw it up. That’s motivation enough…

I’ve been lousy with the diet, but keeping up with the exercise. So I’m still losing, but not very fast. I am going to have to go looking for my next size down slacks here this weekend. I almost can’t wear my shorts anymore, and the jeans are pretty baggy. So I’m getting there. Just not gonna happen overnight.
