Kucinich 61
Romney -61
Obama came in third at 28. Paul was the highest Republican at 25, which put him 6th.

Kucinich 76, Gravel 59 but no disagreements, Obama 49, Clinton 40, Edwards 39.
Hunter -76, Tancredo -67, Romney -61, Huckabee -54, Guiliani -31
Not too far off. My personal preference order is Edwards, Biden, Dodd, Obama, Clinton.
I came out with Kucinich on top, followed by Gravel, and then Obama. I did have a perfect split between the Democratic candidates and the Republicans (the only Republican who even scored in the positive range was Ron Paul).
I feel like the test is slightly biased, though. If there had been a “support FairTax” question on there, I would’ve disagreed as strongly as possible, and that would’ve shown up against Gravel. Similarly with “establishing a Department of Peace” and Kucinich. Basically, several of the issues that a priori make me discount the candidacies of Kucinich and Gravel weren’t on the list.
Top:
Kucinich 48
Gravel 42
Obama 33
Edawards/Clinton 32
Bottom:
Tancredo -41
Hunter -47
Romney -48
No real surprises at the top. Although I think Obama or Clinton would be the best choices. At bottom, I’m surprised to see Romney so low. I hate him, but it’s mostly because he was a pretty poor governor. I thought he’d be running closer to the top of the Republicans if measured by issues alone (Paul, with 15, is my top Republican, btw).
Top 5:
Kucinich 41
Gravel 36
Obama 28*
Clinton 27*
Edwards 26*
*Interesting that these three all seem to blend together for me anyway, so a 2 point spread is not that surprising, I suppose.
Bottom 5:
Brownback -29
Tancredo -35
Huckabee -36
Romney -40
Hunter -43
Guess I have a definite Democratic lean going there…
Kucinich 67, Gravel 60, Obama 31.
Kucinich and Gravel are kind of crazy, but I do kind of like Obama.
Tancredo -56
Romney -62
Hunter -64
Highest Republican other than Ron Paul (who wants to eliminate half of all federal agencies, it seems like), is Thompson at -17.
I think this test is deliberately biased towards Kucinich. If you go to the source page from the test, there is a Kucinich for president add at the top.
My results were a bit weird:
Highest:
McCain 17
Gravel 16
Paul 13
Giuliani 13
Brownback 10
Thompson 5
Gravel in with a bunch of Republicans. I disagreed with very few issues of his, but I guess I didn’t rate the things I agreed with on him very high.
Lowest:
Clinton -19
Romney -19
Hillary and Mitt tied. Wouldn’t have expected that. No one scored very high for me (or very low, for that matter) though. Guess it was all the “mehs” I put down for importance. I don’t particularly care about half the issues (Iraq and Iran in particular).
Given a) I live in the UK and b) I put ‘meh’ a lot as most issues affect the US, I got:
Kuchinich 49 (no disagreements)
Hunter -45
Which candidates support torture? :smack:
Strange poll with an odd collection of questions:
Kucinich 44 Net Neutrality
Clinton 34 Patriot Act, Net Neutrality, Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Marriage
Edwards 32 Patriot Act, Net Neutrality, Iran - Military Action, Same-Sex Marriage
Gravel 31 (you have no disagreements with this candidate)
…
Giuliani -15
Who the heck is Gravel?
Interesting how the candidate I am currently planning to vote for is a -15. Of course his stand on torture and the Patriot act means I might jump ship to the Dem candidate at this rate. I think he needs some clarifying statements.
Of course, if Bloomberg runs, I drop Rudy instantly.

If I support “Embryonic Stem Cells” what does that mean? Support research using them or support protecting them from research that destroys them?
Kucinich 55
Gravel 52
Dodd 26
Obama 24
Clinton 21
Biden 21
Edwards 21
Richardson 16
Paul 15
Thompson -11
Giuliani -23
Cox -23
McCain -25
Brownback -28
Tancredo -44
Romney -53
Huckabee -56
Hunter -62
Apparently I’m some kind of Lefty. I did not know that.
I’m telling you, this “test” had to have been designed by a Kucinich supporter. Go to the original issues page here, and you’ll see that he’s the only candidate who doesn’t have any “unknowns” or “other” rating on any of the issues. Also, note the Kucinich ad at the top.
Yep, you’re probably right.
This theory requires that Kucinich supporters exist.
I can say I’m fully in support of the city of Kyoto. I definitely want it to continue to exist.
Do I support or oppose embryonic stem cells? I strongly support them! Without embryonic stem cells none of us would exist.
I also support Kyoto. I’ve never been there, but I’m sure most of its citizens are decent people and I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to them.
ETA: Beaten by Panamajack.
I came out with "Polls belong in IMHO at 99
and Polls should be permitted in GD at -93.
Off to IMHO.

(I was surprised that Romney scored lower than Tancredo, but the test is not sufficiently real to go back and see where Romney lost more points from me.)
I was confused by the embryonic stem cells question, too. I support research on them, and I chose ‘support’, and since Kucinich et al didn’t disagree with me, I assume my interpretation was the correct one. Here are my results:
Kucinich 69
Gravel 54
Obama 40
Clinton 37
Biden 37
Edwards 36
Dodd 36
Richardson 29
Paul 16
McCain -10
Cox -21
Thompson -21
Giuliani -24
Brownback -36
Huckabee -45
Romney -59
Tancredo -62
Hunter -68
Who the hell is Tom Tancredo? Apparently he’s my candidate of choice, followed by Fred Thompson. There’s no mention of taxes in the quiz either, which I found odd.
