You mean like how CNN is now showing people how to scroll down CNN’s webpage to find the online map?
CNN’s Results Map page shows the following as battleground states: MT, ND, MO, IN OH NC and FL. No NV, no CO, no VA. That’s not much of a “battle”, that’s already over!
… is it 7 yet? ::taps foot impatiently::
I know he’s a baseball geek and all, and baseball geeks love decimal points, but what is with the prediction for Obama of 348.6 electoral votes? Did a magician in some swing state have a particularly bad sawing the electoral voter in half experience?
Gotta love CNN. “As you can see, our polling says McCain did better than Obama among evangelical voters.”
Geeee…way to go out on a limb there.
Heh.
That’s the average outcome of Obama’s electoral votes based on 10,000 simulations run.
On MSNBC exit polls they said that 79 percent of the voters thought the country was on the wrong track. McCain’s toast.
Well, OK, but - sheesh! - round it off.
I expect the first state to fall will be Kentucky, as soon as the remainder of the polls close there at 7et. For McCain, of course. Somebody fix Shayna a drink.
I’d like to second the thanks to Rayh for a great rundown.
We shall see.
Apparently it’s the highest turnout since the 20’s! so it may take a little longer than in previous elections to count. Verrrry exciting - that alone is such a positive thing.
We have an early report from Maine: Obama leads McCain, 2 votes to 1.
I am beginning to suspect that someone in Maine is playing a joke on election coverage websites.
Is there anywhere to watch live CNN (or any news source) coverage of actual results online? Their “live” video is just running the same five segments they’ve run all day plus some of cameras at parties and polls.
THe music on the CNN.com live feed is all kinds of awesome sauce.
In case anyone is wondering about the details; the winner in each Congressional district get’s that district’s elector and the statewide winner get’s the 2 extra electors. Maine has 4 votes; Nebraska has 5. Neither has ever split their vote.
Watching Fox News. Looks like a funeral home even before the polls close. They have seen the exit polls. Early and easy Obama win.
What’re you talking about? Obama stole this election! Its a fraud on the American public!
“Both votes from Rhode Island have now been tabulated…”
Hee Hee. I don’t expect Kentucky, I was just projecting the audacity of my hope. Since we don’t need Kentucky, I actually couldn’t care less.
But Indiana has me on pins and needles!
Awesome. I’m tuning in!
At 9%, still meaningless, but Obama is closing the gap in KENTUCKY, only down 3 points with 9% in.
::waves at Shayna::
MSNBC projects KY for McCain. VT for Obama.
