I HAVE SENT ALL ROUND 1 ADDRESSES VIA PM AS OF NOW. IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE OR ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO PARTICIPATE - PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
Remember, you need to send your postcards by **June 15th **so that they are received before the next cut-off date if you want to be eligible for Round 2.
And like magic they appear. Fingers crossed that the post office and gift shop are open tomorrow!

Just as an FYI, my grid that I use is alphabetical, so Algher was the first to receive the addresses. And each PM takes a little bit to send (I copy/paste the blurb, then have to take each address and copy/paste that in from my master file - and let’s face it, I am 41 and it takes me a minute to remember which name I’m looking for, etc. ) If I was clever I would figure out a mail merge and then a macro to go in to sdmb and i would ban Švejk so I wouldn’t stress about getting the name wrong in the PMs. LOL.
Anyway, with your handle starting with “T” as you can imagine, and the fact that I’m doing this from work, there was definitely a time gap between when Algher got theirs and you got yours
Cards are written and they have stamps on them and going to take them with me now as I leave for grocery shopping, so unless a meteor strikes me before I reach the nearest mailbox they are as good as sent.

Postcards are sent. No idea how long they’re going to take to arrive though. They have a long journey ahead of them.
NB had to walk to snow to get to the postbox :eek:

Travel time should be very short - none are going more than 600 miles or so!

My three postcards are all ready to go but there may be a postal strike so I’m going to hold on to them for a couple of days so they don’t end up in some warehouse somewhere, never to be seen again.
I have 9, count 'em, 9 post cards in hand for all three rounds. This puts me way ahead of the game relative to the last exchange.
I will be addressing them tonight, and mailing Monday. I’ll probably hear from my #3 on Tuesday, too. 
The first three are in the post! I hope the Canada Post strike doesn’t slow down one of them.

Received two today. Arrogance Ex Machina and Vunderbob. I’m probably Vunderbob’s #3 and I will be getting in touch with him soon. I had no idea that he had relocated to my neck of the woods!
