my postcards were finally officially mailed yesterday. That would have been really bad if I didn’t meet my own deadline!
All 3 of mine have been delivered, and I’m waiting on my 3rd & last delivery.
I picked up my third card today, this one from Silenus.
I came home today to the first of my two cards! One is from Bobbio; how did you know I have a fondness for the Harrier? What a neat plane it is. I know it can’t really hover like they show it in the movies, but a vertical takeoff is really freakin cool nonetheless. I see the one you sent me is actually the AV-8 Harrier, which I guess is a redesigned model. Very neat!
And I also got needscoffee’s card, which made me laugh. I hope she doesn’t mind me quoting the relevant line:
(From Seattle) “I was going to write that it’s a beautiful sunny day but I took too long to make a cup of coffee and now it’s about to rain.”
That totally made my day, and then the signature (needscoffee) was of course even more apropos.
melodyharmonius, it wouldn’t have been bad, we would have just mocked you ceaselessly. 
Silenus is my first received card. Yay! My only time in Lost Wages was a layover in the airport many years ago.

Got my first postcard today; nice Wisconsin lake picture from Francis Castle.
Went on a field trip to Dayton today and figured I could pick up some postcards. None of the 4 retail establishments we visited had postcards. Boooooooo. So I’ll be going out tomorrow to get and send cards.

I still have only gotten a single (very nice) card from Algher.

Received card #2 today from anya marie. Seems like Indiana is pretty similar to Wisconsin. Oh look, more farm fields!
I got a very cute cow postcard today from **FrancesCastle **of a region I’ve been to (in general), and a cool historic postcard from anya marie of a place I’d like to visit (my second one from her - we’re practically old pals now!).
I also got a third scenic postcard which says “Smile!” on the front, which, alas, turned out to be a reminder from my dentist’s office.
I can forward along the one from my dentist’s office if you’d like.
Someone send me elendil’s address. I just bought some more cards and he needs a fix quickly!
