When you have a quality coordinator, it’s just a matter of time before you lose him. He didn’t peel any staff away from MSU and there is a lot of continuity among the assistants. To be fair, the defense was not as good in 2014 as it was in 2013, due to losses in the secondary.
I’m looking forward to the Oregon visit, minus their NFL-quality QB and (hopefully) playing in less than 95 degree heat.
Oh, if I go it will be with my brother-in-law who will give me the full tour (he actually leads tours for prospective students on occasion) and ensure that the fight song gets stuck in my head. I will just need to be vigilant to make sure I don’t drink too much and wake up with a Sparty tattoo.
Definitely take the tour. In my opinion the only campus that I think comes close to MSU in terms of beauty is Colorado. Although we did take a big step back when the new art museum was built (as small consolation, some scenes from the next Batman movie were shot there. Gave me a chuckle to drive by and see the Gotham News trucks).
