Since it hasn’t been started yet I thought I’d get the ball rolling. Feel free to use this thread for recruitment, but once the individual league threads are started specific league discussion (draft time, scoring, etc.) should be handled there.
It seems that AP is pretty much the overall #1 on most pundit lists. To me it seems like his QB situation should at least give that ranking some questioning.
Are there any positional camp battles who you see as having a fantasy impact? I think that the Bengals drafting of Hill (rb), and the Eagles bringing Sproles could impact the fantasy numbers that the incumbents put up.
I’m with you on this one. Personally, I think McCoy should be the top guy in there. I know Charles is up there but I have been burned by his injuries in the past. Don’t get me wrong, I am not going to complain if AP drops to me but with no solid QB there it’s pretty iffy.
Normally I watch a lot of pre-season but this year I haven’t even watched all of the Giants game which is shameful. I will definitely have to check out the Giants-Colts game this weekend so I can get a better look at our lower WRs.

Cassel and/or Bridgewater and/or Ponder can not likely do much worse than that year.
So, I’m not all that concerned about who the Vikings QB is going to be, I’d take Peterson #1 and not look back at all.
I think there are 3 elite QB’s (Manning, Brees, Rodgers), and then a huge swath of average QB’s who are mix and match plays. Then there is garbage. I’m either burning an early pick on one of the three, or waiting until everyone else has gone and grabbing a guy I like.
Agreed. There is such a huge gulf between those three and the rest of the QBs that you’d be almost insane to bypass one of them in the first or second round if you get the chance.
The all pro league drafts on Tuesday, Aug 26 at 9pm eastern, the auction league drafts on Thursday Aug 28 at 9pm eastern, and the big league drafts on Wednesday, Sep 3 at 8:30 eastern.

Anyone else feeling a little burn-out this year? I’ve decided to cut down to two leagues (my money league and work and the Big League) and I’ve barely done any prep so far. I did 3 last year and it just got to be too much to handle.
I definitely understand where you’re coming from enalzi, but this year I am going in the opposite direction. I cut my leagues down to 2 last year but I missed having the additional 1 or 2 leagues that I used to participate in. Especially when my only 2 teams crashed and burned
This year I am back up to 3. Not quite as crazy as the 4 I used to participate in but it should be more than enough to keep me busy. Definitely looking forward to this season. Not gonna lie, the Giants being extra suspect this year also means more time to focus on Fantasy.
My work league is 10-team and the QB results were pretty much what has been discussed here already. Top 3 went early and then it was kind of all over the place. I still have a ton of WR stuff to figure out. That’s a position I usually mess up so I guess it’s time to do some research for once.
We had a last minute cancellation in the all-pro league which drafts tonight at 9 eastern. It’s an auction draft this year, a pretty stable, competitive league. If you’re interested in filling that last slot, get back to me soon.
Our draft was rescheduled last night for 8 pm et. It never started.
Then the commissioner rescheduled this evening for 7 pm et. When everyone got there to do the draft 10-15 minutes prior…the draft had already autopicked for everyone.
