Browns snag #22 from Philly. Eagles get a #3 this year in exchange for moving down 4 spots.
Browns trying to set a record for draft day trades.
Don’t think they’d trade up for Bridgewater. Probably Manziel.
Oh boy.
At least it will be a jolt of excitement for Brown’s fans.
There it is. SenorBeef, start typing, stop raping. Get the boots off.
Ha Ha Clinton Dix looks so much like Eddie Murphy I want to cast him in Beverly Hills Cop 3. Or possibly 4. Did they already make III?
I watched a lot because he was a Bears target. Came away with a big meh. Didn’t see any big red flags but not much impressive either.
I think Bama guys are generally over rated on defense, so we’ll see.
And off to watch more game tape, because the Auburn game was … not good. He got easily blocked, got juked, got burned, was late, and didn’t have an impact. Oops.
SalPal explains that a homeless man convinced the Browns to take Johnny. Always a good sign.
Okay, no way Haslam isn’t bullshitting with that homeless guy anecdote.
Manziel is the third QB the Browns have taken with the 22nd pick in the 1st round. Quinn, Weeden, now Johny. I hope the third times a charm.
I hope that homeless man gets a finder’s fee.
I don’t know what homeless guy anecdote you’re talking about, but it definitely sounds more solid than this:
Okay, I hate Manziel slightly less after watching his interview with Deion.
I’ve only watched Auburn (Bad Game) and Texas A & M (Average), and I’m not overly impressed. He’s extremely versatile, relatively solid, but I haven’t seen anything special about him at all. More tape may help, but I tend to agree with the Meh.
I know this sounds nuts, but if Bridgewater is there at 35 I’d take him if I were the Browns. The team has been shitty for over a decade due to missing constantly on QBs. Taking a high floor guy to compliment the guy running around like a chicken with his head cut off - hoping one of them develops into something good - would be totally worthwhile.
Solid pick for the Bengals in an area of need. Pacman is Pacman, getting older and injury prone. Terrance Newman is old and injury prone. Leon Hall is coming off a major achilles injury. Dre Kirkpatrick hasn’t lived up to his first round billing from a couple years ago (and injury prone).
I’m Hamlet, and I support this message.
Wouldn’t you hate anybody less after that?
Not the worst idea I’ve ever heard.
