Yes, the Troy New York slaughter came off (as there were two arrests) and the New Jersey case went on making it a wash. Reddit allows endless editing so I suspect the version on Reddit/lists should be considered official.

I hadn’t seen this thread until today, and as horrific as this list is, I have to admit to being a little surprised it wasn’t a lot worse. The vast majority of incidents were “only” four deaths, and only a couple were more than ten. I wouldn’t have been surprised if there had been five to ten incidents with more than ten deaths.

How sad is that?
