I’m sorry, I’m holding him to whatever he was predicting before the polls opened this morning. The notion that he can keep tweaking it as the votes come in is ridiculous. If I wait until 99% of the vote is in, I can make pretty good predictions also.

While I like that news I tend to not pay much attention to MSNBC (the FOX News of the left). Not saying they are wrong and I hope they are right but not a prediction I’d take any more seriously than one from FOX.
I have generally liked Nate Silver and 538 because I think they go where the numbers take them but in this case they got something wrong.
I am willing to bet there are going to be some finger pointing at 538 tomorrow. They screwed up that part and someone is gonna pay.
For whatever reason, again, FOX NEWS! has projected that the DEMS will control the House of Representatives.

Doesn’t matter. It’s not about votes on bills; it’s about who controls the committee chairs, who elects the Speaker, and who gets to hold hearings. A one-vote margin is enough to do that.
I’ve never heard of this requirement. I am not saying that you are wrong, but that is news to me and none of the 4 stations on the 4 TVs I’m watching have mentioned it.
